Following the highly successful and socially unifying theme of ‘Harmonies of Faith’ in 2025, the 35th anniversary season will once again focus on a completely different and exciting theme, the close interplay of music and movement, with ‘Let’s Dance’ from 31 July to 9 August 2026.

The 35th Internationale Fredener Musiktage will therefore be all about dance in its many different forms: from classical waltzes to powerful African rhythms and workshops for children, young people and adults, from passionate tango to creative ballet scenes – the stages of the six venues in four locations in the Leinebergland region offer the space to provide fascinating concert experiences with music and dance.

Following the successful Christmas advance sales, we will open regular advance sales for the coming concert summer as usual on 2 May 2026, with ten, possibly even eleven concerts and several additional supporting events. If you are a member of our supporting association, you can exercise your right of first refusal from mid-April 2026. Wouldn’t that be a good reason to become a member beforehand?
