Next summer is sure to arrive, and with it the 35th anniversary season of the International Fredener Music Festival. This year, from 31 July to 9 August 2026, we will be exploring the close interplay between music and movement under the theme »Let’s dance«.

This season is therefore entirely dedicated to dance in all its diverse forms: From classical waltzes to powerful African rhythms and workshops for children, teenagers and adults, from passionate tango and creative ballet scenes to spirited flamenco dancing – the stages of the six venues across four locations in the Leinebergland region provide the setting for fascinating concert experiences featuring music and dance in ten concerts and a number of additional supporting events.
