Hotel Steinhoff – Ballroom

The traditional Steinhoff house in Freden has existed since 1862 and, in addition to the hotel business with more than 30 beds, offers a guest room, a café, a bowling alley, the beer garden and, for many years, the largest ballroom in the southern district of Hildesheim. This hall, which has just been renovated by the new operators since 2019 Merza Haji Barkat and Sehmus Kaplan, has already hosted several events, including some film evenings, of the Internationale Fredener Musiktage. The hotel has been the gastronomic centre of the International Freden Music Days for many years, many musicians stay here, and concertgoers, musicians and the organising team meet here after the concerts for the sometimes legendary „Freden Music Days Nights“ with a polonaise through the hotel kitchen or spontaneous trombone concerts at 1 am.
